Blessed are the poor in spirit for the kingdom is yours
Blessed are the ones who morn, find comfort in your Lord
Blessed are those who are hungry and thirst for Your light
For they will be filled overflowing and righteous in Your sight

Reach out rejoice in all God's glory
For He is our one and only light
We must forgive for we're all God's children
Filled with His love from within
Born to be just like Him

Blessed are the weak and shattered for the world belongs to you
Blessed are the ones who give mercy let there be mercy given to
Blessed are those who are pure of a peacemaker's heart
For they will be called sons and daughters in the kingdom of our God
